I have no doubt the next rhetoric will be that Zimmerman "deserved it", "had it coming".....

Benjamin Crump, an attorney for the Martin family, said Zimmerman provoked the fight by confronting Trayvon.

"This was avoidable if George Zimmerman had not gotten out of his car and profiled and pursued and shot Trayvon Martin in the heart," Crump said.

Prosecutors will be able to use the evidence, including Zimmerman's repeated calls to 911 about black males in the neighborhood, to establish Zimmerman's state of mind as he confronted Trayvon, Crump said. Police Investigator Christopher Serino wrote in a March 13 police report that the shooting could have been avoided had Zimmerman stayed in his car and waited for police, as a dispatcher asked him to do.

"The objective evidence shows that George Zimmerman made a decision to get out of his car in the rain and pursue Trayvon," Crump said. "We hear him running. We hear him breathing hard."

One man had a gun, one boy had a box of Skittles. Zimmerman probably could have avoided shooting him by just IMMEDIATELY pulling the gun on Travon. Instead, he shot him to prevent getting his ass kicked. I think it's not murder, but an easily preventable death, for which Zimmerman should pay a price.

The BGOV Barometer shows that since Democrat John F. Kennedy took office in January 1961, non-government payrolls in the U.S. swelled by almost 42 million jobs under Democrats, compared with 24 million for Republican presidents, according to Labor Department figures.

Democrats hold the edge though they occupied the Oval Office for 23 years since Kennedy’s inauguration, compared with 28 for the Republicans. Through April, Democratic presidents accounted for an average of 150,000 additional private-sector paychecks per month over that period, more than double the 71,000 average for Republicans

And as I've said from the beginning, Latinos are watching and they don't like what they see from Obama on the Trayvon-Zimmerman justified self defense shooting. I knew the media was all screwed up when they couldn't get Zimmerman's race correct, so I figured everything else they were peddling was most likely all FUBAR also. Correctimundo!

Not keeping an eye on Trayvon would be shirking his duty as Capt of the Neighborhood watch. He did his job diligently to make sure that police would be able to question Trayvon when they finally got there, unlike previous incidents where suspected thieves slipped away. Nothing wrong or illegal about keeping an eye on suspicious persons especially when you are the WATCH OFFICER ON DUTY. That was his job that night and he took his position seriously. The dispatcher wanted Trayvon to take off, so there is no danger to the police when they arrive.

Yeah for not shirking his neighborhood watch duties. Nothing wrong with keeping an eye on somebody when you are the neighborhood watch and every family in the neighborhood is depending on you to do your job. I think the media missed the term WATCH which means you WATCH suspicious persons until proven no longer to be suspicious. Zimmerman knew all the families in the neighborhood and this Trayvon is an outsider and proven to be an outsider. That made him suspicious right off being by himself and not with somebody Zimmerman knows in the community. Wouldn't matter if he was green or purple or white or hispanic, a suspicious person is somebody you know does not live in the community and is not with somebody you know lives in the community that can vouch for the person period.

The prosecution will also go after the fact that Zimmerman did not listen to the 911 operator telling him not to follow Trayvon. While I agree that Zimmerman's decision to disobey the operator wasn't a good one, I don't think that should make the difference between self-defense and murder..

Are you sure of your interpretation of what happened? From what I heard claimed and the maps and time line, I came to a different conclusion. Zimmerman followed Martin for only a very short time and distance after the operator told him to stop. He lost track and sight of Martin when Martin turned right down the path between the buildings. Zimmerman then continued straight (not right) out to the street to get an address # for the police. Zimmerman then met up with Martin upon returning from the street to his car. From the map and time line, Martin would have HAD to return back up the path he had fled on originally to meet up with Zimmerman.
My guess is he said something to Zimmerman when perhaps at most 40 yards down the path from Zimmerman. Zimmerman then turned left down the path at most 20 yards.... meeting up with Martin coming up the path the other way. The confrontation began there. So tell me......who confronted who????

P.S. .....spoke to my sister the other day regarding Koreans and their dogs.......interested?
