You are lying.

Here are the facts that prove I am not :

Obama Signs Bill To Extend Bush Tax Cuts - Political Hotsheet ...
www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-20026069-503544.html - CachedDec 17, 2010 – President Signs Into Law $858 Billion Compromise Bill That Also Extends Unemployment Insurance and Cuts Payroll Taxes Read more by Brian ...

Dude he had no choice:

"The vote is likely largely symbolic, since the bill is unlikely to get the 60 votes it needs to break a GOP filibuster in the Senate.

The Obama administration and Congressional leaders are now in negotiations on crafting a compromise between the White House position that the cuts not be extended for incomes above the $250,000 threshold for families (or $200,000 for individuals) and the Republican position that they be extended for all Americans."

cbsnews.com

Obama agreed to let the Bush tax cuts get extended because he could not break the Senate Republican filibuster. He also wanted to extend unemployment benefits which Rs finally agreed to so long as the Bush tax cuts to the wealthy were extended.

So there you have it........a lot of nothing. If the wealthy tax cuts no longer belong to Bush, then they belong to the GOP. They are all yours.

To say otherwise is tantamount to being a liar.

When 10% shoulder 70% of the load and 50% pay Zero there is a problem.

Yeah there is a problem...in your sense of fairness I suppose....the top 10 percent of the country controls 90 percent of the wealth while the bottom 90 percent controls the remaining 10 percent, while paying nearly 30 percent of the taxes.

Answer the question...with with historically low tax rates, how low is low? Where do you want it?

While the Court isn't always convinced by slippery slope arguments, this one is so glaring and in your face that it is difficult to imagine a pro-Obama decision.

Don't bet on it. At best, the decision will be 5 to 4 against Obama. Of course Kagan should recuse .....but she won't. This country is but one unfortunate illness away from
from a nightmare supreme court. Three liberal, women from NYC. Now there's judicial diversity for you.

But it’s congressional Republicans who bear the brunt here, with only 21% approving of their tactics, as opposed to 71% who disapprove.

I sure hope this translates into something concrete in 2012...the country can't go on with this kind of division...

Obama did not agree to anything. He is the POTUS isnt he ? He shoved Obamacare down out throats without one GOP vote didnt he ?

So now your claiming he was forced to sign a bill by the minority party ?

BS.

Your tax cuts on the rich crap is history Ted. You can confiscate all the money from all the billionaires and it wont cover a tenth of the debt Obama has created.

We are looking at taxing your great grandchildren to cover what has happened from Clinton thru Obama and O has spent more in 2 years than all of them combined.

Deal with it.

Yet another ridiculous point from our analytically challenged crew.

A business goes to its bank and borrows all it can -- a million dollars against a million dollars in collateral. It promptly squanders the million on a big company bash. A week later it appears at the bank demanding another million.

You think the bank should just keep writing checks?

At some point, if you keep borrowing, you exceed the limits of your wherewithal to repay the debt. The Republicans, for whatever reason, realize we're beyond our limit. The Democrats, for whatever reason, want to keep on spending like there is no tomorrow.

This is soooo complicated, right?

There is no quagmire here. This is a relatively simple matter:

LOL...the court cases so far have been split...3 for two against I believe...the opinions have been far reaching, diverse and interesting...but to you it's a simple case...of course it is...you are a partisan extremist and do not display a gram of objectivity.
