You beat me to it... That huge trade (500,000 or so shares) has driven it up to 50 1/8. We'll see if it can stay above 50, though. Hopefully the bulls find, once they've charged to the top of the hill, that there is a sharp cliff on the other side.

I picked up a few contracts of MUTJ Aug 50 put options earlier at 2 7/16. All I need now is a nice bounce off the upper band...

Singapore Times 1 Aug: SHARE prices eased marginally in thin trade yesterday, with most large stocks lower on concerns the weakening
yen may hurt exports. Dealers said reports of a weaker yen against the dollar and declining DRAM microchip prices weakened sentiment towards some large-cap shares.

An interesting article at CMP concerning sale of two european chip mfg. Article includes the comments: "...IC margins are much thinner away from that edge, leaving small companies hard-pressed to make an operating profit, let alone invest in the R&D and capital expenditures for next-generation processes. A new wafer fab today, even a small one, costs several times the annual sales revenue of some of the European companies.

I would think that MU is in the same position as these mfg.

Pete:
MU just completed the formation of a cup. It just may break out. It's a bit late for me. I sold half at 42.

Mr., wanted to congratulate you on your faith in MU. You were
right and I was wrong. In my wildest dreams I never thought MU
would reach 50+ this year - or next year. Continued success.

Bernie
