Happy Christmas All. There is a question doing the rounds in Sydney, "Britain provided convicts to Australia and puritans to America. Which country got the better deal?" Trying another slant, "America gave Australia Windows and Australia gave America Ramtron. Which country got the better deal?" RichardW.

Nobody has signed in since I wished everyone a Happy Christmas. It's New Year's Eve now and the mosquitos are biting. So I am closing the doors and windows and turning out the lights. I'm off to see the fireworks. RichardW.

Happy New Year Richard!

So what's to talk about this stock? It looks like a TOTAL LOSER to me. Yes, I still have it because I paid 5-3/4 for this POS stock. I didn't need a year end tax loss, so I still hold it. What more can I say? The stock SUCKS----BIG TIME!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of names have left this thread, RMTR value too.

Hi Richard. I havn't been around recently due to messing up my
computer while converting to a cable download. It's fast. Dropped
a file of fifteen million this morning in less than two minutes.
Might have been two hours on a 28K modem. My RMTR has dropped about
as fast. Maybe, I can get the paper from the broker and use it
for wall paper.

I heard from Doug a couple of times in the past month, but I didn't
get the message until real late, as I lost my connection during my
computer mess up.

Tom,

Could you tell me in 25 words more or less what this article means and what it has to do with this loser, RMTR? I don't really understand the ESDRAM, SDRAM, etc.

Does it have anything to do with RMTR going UP sometime in the next millenium? You know, like maybe I could get back part of the $5.78/share I put into it?

Katz.....keep the faith.....just today, 19% plus.

But, be sure you use a deep discount broker.

Oh well, today RMTR was my biggest percentage gainer YTD.

Katz,

Shortly put, nothing direct. Just that there are high costs associated with Rambus memory and alternatives, such as RMTR's ESDRAM, may sound more appealing.

That's 24 words. Listen, I've lost alot on this too. Either average down, sell for a tax loss, or don't look at this stock for another 5 years ('cause if it goes bankrupt, you've lost essentially the same amount and if it goes higher, you'll just be pleasantly surprised).
Don't let it frustrate you.

Tom
P.S. You counted, didn't you? :)
