Hmmm, I guess it couldn't have anything to do with the socialist tendencies of college professors. I'm beginning to wonder if college is worth a damn any more.

Just noticed this from February 1.

Cisco Systems Inc. has appointed Michael Capellas, former president and CEO of MCI Inc., to its board of directors.

How many options did he get?

How can people be so slimey? And how could this person's manager not catch this? If the manager can't smell a skunk, s/he shouldn't be working in human resources.

(Recasts lead, changes source, adds details)

March 17 (Reuters) - Morgan Stanley on Friday raised its price target of communications equipment maker Cisco Systems Inc. (CSCO.O: Quote, Profile, Research) to $26 from $23 and reiterated its "overweight" rating on the company's stock.

The brokerage said in a research note that over the next few years, Cisco is positioned to benefit from transitions in enterprise, service provider and consumer networks, which should drive superior revenue and earnings growth relative to other companies in the same sector covered by Morgan.

Yep. Guess what? I am up 23.7% on my investment in a little over a year.

What do you think of that, faqs? I said I'd be up 10%+ last year and it happened. I said I'd be up another 10%+ this year and it's happened in 2.5 months.

OK. My arm hurts from patting myself on the back. I'll go back into hiding now. ;)
