Don't spend your money based on CNBC!
Any 'John Doe' can predict better than folks at CNBC.
Remember, what Great Peter Lynch said "Invest in company that you believe in".
CSCO is such a company with strong vision.
Few years down the road, the whole INTERNET will change...it is currently going thru the evolution. AND CSCO is working towards shaping the NET...!

Will a router-centric view hurt Cisco?
Do any of the technical (engineering technical that is) types who follow Cisco think that they overemphasize routers, when everyone else seems to be producing faster wide-bandwidth switches ?

Per cnbc, I have it blocked out.Just call your cable company.I bought more this am @56,higher than I would like,but look at this:in 6 months trailing earnings will conservatively be 2.16. 2.16x25=54.This 25 pe is half the current growth rate.We were so lucky to have the price drop to 46!When earnings growth picks up the pe will go to 30+,so you get 2.65x32 next July which gets us 80+ per share and comparisons will get easier from there.My point is that this is a good price now,not spectacular,but if you plan on leaving it alone for a couple years you will be greatly rewarded.

CSCO is NOT a router-centric company.
They are #1 in Routers.
Also they are #1 in Switching.
They began competing against NORTEL on Voice/Packet switching (Cisco 3800 series).
They have strong foothold on ATM (Stratacom, LS1010 switches).
List goes on and on....
