As a “make good” to their customers, Nokia, for a limited time, will credit customers with a $100 on their next AT&T bill. The phone retails for $99 and with this offer, it’s basically free. However, if you buy from Amazon Wireless, you actually make $50 back as it goes for $49 at Amazon with new or an upgraded contract.
OT: Second time you posted here out of the blue, with completely OT stuff, having nothing to do with NOK. Please don't do it again, otherwise I'll have to report all three posts. Thanks! I'd tell you so via PM but you have me on ignore. Best!
I think NOK is worth taking a small gamble on here, but I've mitigated my risk by buying calls rather than stock.... the July 4 calls are 0.24 ask at the moment, I don't mind risking twenty-four cents on the chance something will goose the stock between now and end of July...
I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here Syl in that you are asking for the right reasons. I'm probably wrong but I do like to give the benefit of the doubt when I can.
I sold 1/2 on the spike this AM just after open because I felt that they'd try to get it to $580 or $570 by close. Almost took a short term put play just to protect to the downside but didn't really feel like it.
I don't like buying on expiration day and don't want to carry too much into earnings. I'd actually like to see $550 but I don't think we'll get there without some sort of earnings disappointment. I'm not worried about short term action for the most part. I like position plays at good valuations into volatility like we're seeing here.
Therefore, I'll likely wait for either a big blow off and buy more or wait until after earnings.
