What difference does it make who the moderator is? Unlike in the past, no one is banned here for their opinion, so as long as they remain civil, the moderator plays no role. It would appear that what you object to is my opinion. Under the old moderating style, that would get you banned. Instead, you are free to express your thoughts without fear of retaliation. You consider that a bad thing?

Well, fastpathguru has a point here, that´s for sure. An AMD board moderated by someone with a hyper-critical view of AMD is indeed somewhat bizarre. Can´t someone with a more neutral approach take over?

This board is totally worthless. In addition to the moderator, who has dedicated his entire life to the destruction of AMD , you have Ali-Baba and his 40 Arabs ready and willing to jump in at any time to keep the
bashing alive. Come over to AMD, ARMH, INTC, NVDA board

Ironically, your post proves the value of this board. You couldn't post that on the other board without being banned. Here, you are free to express your opinion without fear of reprisals. Just be civil about it.

Let it also be noted that while free to post anything they want, no one seems to be interested in posting anything positive about AMD, if you can find it. Or anything negative about Intel, if you can find it. All with no fear of being banned. Instead you choose to condemn the moderator who guards your freedom...

Ironic indeed.

Unless you have insiders who know exactly how far trinity has moved along we don't know if the second generation fusion product is on schedule or very close to schedule +- a quarter I'd say. Way off would be a year later than expected.

Youth,

Re: "This board is totally worthless ... Come over to AMD, ARMH, INTC, NVDA board"

Let's see ... AMD just released the performance-less "BSDoozer" and NVDA just slipped their product schedules by a year.

AMD "faithful" and "technically challenged" on that board have "wet dreams" about ARM cores on SOI, DELL buying AMD
and now we have a rumor of APPL buying AMD. What a bunch of "crap". That board is worse than worthless ... It's
dangerous to your financial health because posters posing as "technically competent" try to "pass off" these
rumors/dreams as if they might happen. Readers of that board, BEWARE.

For those who want the protection of censorship, I recommend that board. You can make up anything you want and you can't be challenged, as long as it either makes AMD look good or makes Intel look bad.

This board will not censor those who have opposing views.

Take your pick.

Mr Guru,

Re: "Word of advice... Lock the door, lest your mom catch you in your "excited" state."

Better follow your own advice ... Sounds like you have "popped a woody" on the other board. Something about AAPL buying AMD ??!! LOL

Intel Retailers Jack Up Core i5/i7 Prices After Bulldozer Launch?
brightsideofnews.com

Weren't all the law suits and government actions against Intel supposed to level the playing field? Weren't they supposed to set AMD free to compete on the merits against Intel for the benefit of the consumer?

AMD is far weaker today than before all the lawsuits were filed and the government investigations began. How has the consumer benefited from all this? Is it possible that the Lawyers were the ones who made out best of all? Intel, supposedly shackled by Government regulation has now posted 6 consecutive quarters of record results. AMD has crashed and burned.

Intel said AMD's problems were all self imposed. When given government protection and the freedom to compete AMD imploded. Is it possible there never was a Intel caused problem in the first place? Is it possible that AMD's problems really were all self imposed?

Open minds should be open to looking at things in new ways.
