| I didn't see the first yr either, so my dvr is set. And welcome back! We haven't been to Victoria in ages but really loved it the last time we went. The most memorable thing we did was a tour of the Anne Hathaway house, and both of us felt like it was one of the best tours we'd ever taken. We learned a lot about the history of little sayings we hear on a regular basis (such as "watch your 'Ps' & 'Qs'" and also about the architecture of that era, the importance of the garden and how people interacted with one another. We were there on a walking tour on that visit, and only had 14 hrs, so we didn't go out to Butchart Gardens, but we'd been there before, so we focused on the interesting things in downtown Victoria. In retrospect, I wish we'd stayed the night............the whole experience was magical. |
