I'll admit to using Wate On as well. In high school in the late '50s, I was super-skinny at 6'5", 165 lbs., and my mother somehow came up with Wate On, probably by mail order. They were white wafers that came in a box about the size used for Christmas candy. If I had any weight gain, it likely was from the glass of milk recommended for each wafer dosage. I eventually became paunchy and overweight in my 30s but have settled back at an ideal weight of 190 as I approach 70.
I had totally forgotten about Wate On.
