I remember you and Mike talking about CHTR a while ago. It only took me a year to follow suit:-).

Hi guys - just wanted to mention that I could only squeeze so much into the article, but it has provoked a very interesting discussion on several threads.

I will put the Last Mile bottleneck on my list for a future discussion. Though it has been covered so well on the Last Mile thread on SI it would be equally hard to reduce to a 1300-word once over lightly that the SSI format permits.

I will be lurking here - nice thread.

:-), you know WMI, has shown up on LEH's 10 uncommon values
list this year, that and CD are two of my turn around
value stocks of the past 15 months that I've been pleased
with.

CD's recent acquistion of Galileo is said by SSB to be very
accretive for 2002 earnings, up 1.43 now. I've got to
post that article here.

I know you saw we had a TICK reading greater than + 1200
this morning about 55 minutes into the session.

readings over +1200 are rare and bullish, so I've been
trading from the longside as soon as I saw that and Monday
Tuesday should be strong as well.

Dale, The LM thread here is great, I am sure that you have Frank Coluccio's thread bookmarked too. I contribute on occassion and have put a couple of dissertations on the topic on some other threads. Your thoughts align very closely with mine.

I think that the folks on the threads where I regularly hang out are at the point where they are saying "ok jorj, enough already, we know that you think that last mile broadband is important.....blah blah blah"

John,
I was up late working with some folks in Australia, I slept in this morning and never looked at the tick and trin readings.

Just enjoying the ride now.

Tom, so how are the folks down under doing.... You know they are upside down "Down Under"

Selectnet and SOES are down this afternoon and trading firms have been told not to use them, that is
creating a slow standstill this afternoon.

You know the drillers and Natural Gas stocks have been sold so agressively that I've been checking several
out today for a trade.

EOG is a stock I may go home long this weekend for a trade. The VIX and VXN are a worry, but the VIX has
a chart formation such that it looks like it may break the 21 area to the downside and head lower to the high
teens over the next week or two.

interestingly the KLAC and NVLS daily bar charts are showing them at horizontal resistance, they may just
be able to "Break out" above their respective selling levels and head higher.

The Lond bond has gotten killed since 11 AM yesterday , it's down 2 and 1/4 big figures since then. The bond
traders see the stronger economic numbers the past couple of days.

there was some talk yesterday that TSM (taiwan semiconductor) is seeing improving orders from the US.

John,
I love working with AUS/NZ. In APAC, AUZ/NZ, China and Japan are the real performers. India has really been affected by the popping of the bubble, much of their wealth was tied up with the mania. SE Asia....hurtin.

Tim, you get an A+ for CMRC, you picked the day of the Low
and we've seen a 70% increase in 7 market days.

Obviously SAP increasing there stake in CMRC is a very
positive development. With SAP, which has 16,000 corporate
clients globally, owning 20% of CMRC, F and GM owning just
under 15%, and MSFT also coming up with cash to help
develop their joint software project, CMRC is not going
away it would seem.
