Mary,
Unlike some, I don't mind acknowledging people and giving credit where or when it's due. LE has probably forgotten more about the markets and investing than 85 percent of the people on these boards. How he uses that information is another story. When someone takes as much time as he has to research a stock to the length and degree he does an investor would be foolish not to follow up on the information and weigh it according to their own research and information. Differing Information is not bad, its what you do with it that counts. So, when you say not to pat someone on the back because it doesn't add to anyone's credibility to me is a sad commentary. I think to acknowledge someone else's successes is credible and opens up dialog. I guess your just a person who wants a hurrah, hurrah, cheerleading type thread without any dissenting discourse.
I'll take two LE's on every thread to a dozen cheerleaders or naive enthusiastic sheep anytime.
Regards,
Kevin |
