In none of the situations you mentioned would armed resistance have been right or advisable. You even admitted that an armed populace can not oppose the government anyway. In what way does the second amendment garantee our rights? I may have missed your point. Please clarify. :-)

I have no choice about whether or not I go to school. Thus, I have not given up my right to free speech by entering a school. I retain my right to express myself (albeit in a reasonable way.) Very conservative dress codes infringe upon that right and have historically been struck down in court. As for your second point, calling something a "right" means little to nothing. Rights are inherent, not to be defined at will.

Really? In what way have I been hypocritical? I really want to know, I'm not just being a snot. I have a big problem with hypocrasy - it has robbed my generation of its rebellion.

I apologize if I have dropped out periodically. I am a very busy person and cannot always find time for these little dialogues. I'll be glad to address any point you feel I've dropped.

Waco was a case of a few nuts who went too far. Wounded Knee was part of a terrible part of our history as was slavery. In each of these instances (except the former) the government acted in a way we feel now to have been wrong. However, I see no instance today that would warrant a fear of our own government. Federal employees are proffesionals with diverse political beliefs. I fail to see how this qualifies as a conflict of intrest. If all the women in the country voted as a block, they could carry most elections. This is not a conflict of intrest.

Let's see what your argument really is: Person A accuses Person B. There is no evidence either way and B does not respond to accusation. Because there is not apparent evidence B must have manipulated the media to support him. B is guilty and so are his lackeys in the media. Great argument! I'd use it in a debate but the judge might die laughing.
Let's see if it works. You, Vaughn, are a mean person. If you refuse to respond, you are guilty. If you admit it, you are guilty. If you deny it, you have spun the facts and are guilty.

What "rights" do you claim to have inherently?
