Well, I did find a couple of news releases on the VSE board. See

vse.ca 

They issued +200k shares at $0.92 1 1/2 weeks ago to "retire debt", some of which went to Mandell, some to several others. Nice when you can get shares at a quarter of their value. Typical of the treatment us ordinary shareholders have gotten, too.

I notice the tout hasn't been posting on what "is going to be happening soon" around GMT/EMN lately.

EMN TOUTED AS BIG INTERNET PLAY
Dave Stewart just issued a special report and strong buy recommendation on emf, (sent out over 70,000 reports), stating he saw a big run up ahead for the company.He also recommended gmt a few years back, and seems to put the kiss of death on most stocks, but not before getting a two or three banger out of them.........so I bought a few on friday. now I,ll just watch and wait.

I DON'T BELIEVE THAT
I was not suggesting that he is a pump and dump artist, merely that many of his picks end up trash.......but not before reaping great big profits to those who listen to his strategic advice. Most all of his stocks have had long runs of success before faltering. if it was a scheme you would see a quick spike and then nothing. zitel was recommended by him @ 13.00 and had a very profitable run for me (several times in and out on the long side) before it collapsed. all the bad hype towards him is generated by those who have not followed his advice on exit points after buying, and they got burned.I've been a subscriber for a long time and view him as an honest person.good luck in your trading and investing.........Ron

Regardless, it sounds like pump and dump to me. Stewart's name is mud to lots and lots of folks. Sounds like you were lucky!

stock was up nice today on about 4 times normal volume. anyone out there have a clue as to why?

The stock is a special situation featured in the current Stewart Report which all subscribers have received by now.
