You know as well as I that you and I are very blessed people. Sometimes one must leave a situation that is not good and enter into the ongoing 'drudgery' of marriage... hehehehehehehehe

Yes, the drudgery is there at times. Sometimes more than others. It's when the drudgery isn't there that having that one special person in your life makes the drudgery a forgotten thing.

I was kidding, but you are very right! I am learning to even be happy in the 'drudgery' :) One never stops learning. That's for sure. :)

Please be in prayer for my youngest granddaughter, Claire.
She has a MRSA infection in her finger and hand...and it's spread to her eye.
It was confirmed this morning at an Urgent Care facility with proper antibiotics prescribed, but they were told if it got worse to take her to Vanderbilt ER. After nap, it was decided to take her on to the ER.

Caroline is with us. (Party time!!!)

Thanks for taking time to lift Claire and her mommy & daddy (Shelby & John) up in prayer.

Will update when we know anything.

Blessings,
Karen (E)

Update: Vanderbilt says the other TWO doctors "misdiagnosed" Claire! They said it was viral and not nearly as serious. The antibiotics would do nada for it so he gave a NEW med and sent her home. Praise God! They were told this morning that she would be overnighting in Vandy with IV antibiotics if she got worse!

"Misdiagnosis". I like that!

Keep a close eye on her. The first doctors might have been right. That's the trouble with our medical system. My wife has been to 9 doctors now to determine the proper treatment for a slipped lumbar disc and torn ligaments in her SI joint. Each has claimed the previous diagnosis's were misdiagnosis's. Each new doc has a new remedy. We've finally found one who agrees with one of the previous docs, so maybe we have a solution.

The one constant has been a recommendation for surgery. Not a happy thought.

Hope reigns supreme here for your granddaughter.

Thanks, Chuck!

Claire will visit two more doctors today. As you mentioned, a consensus would be nice.
Little one feeling bad; not herself today...and I don't blame her. It's been a long few days.

Yesterday Caroline and I helped Poppa get 80 round bales of hay in the barn. Today I think she's gonna go ride with Poppa and get 3 we missed up. She's a lot like Becca was...she likes being Poppa's sidekick! :)

Eric's Train Ride

After a very busy day, a commuter settled down in her seat and closed her eyes as the train departed Montreal for Hudson.

As the train rolled out of the station, the guy sitting next to her pulled out his cell phone and started talking in a loud voice: "Hi sweetheart. It’s Eric, I'm on the train — yes, I know it’s the 6:30 and not the 4:30, but I had a long meeting — no, honey, not with that floozy from the accounting office, with the boss. No sweetheart, you’re the only one in my life — yes, I'm sure, cross my heart ..." etc., etc.

Fifteen minutes later, he was still talking loudly, when the young woman sitting next to him, who was obviously angered by his continuous diatribe, yelled at the top of her voice: "Hey, Eric, turn that stupid phone off and come back to bed!

Eric doesn't use his cell phone in public any longer.
