You were right:

Pre-open for NVDA today:
Bid 12.40
Ask 12.48

Looks like there might be some support in the $10 - $11 range, though. So maybe it won't be too bad...

Donny

Since you've been in and out 4 times

was this sell off any different than the rest?

was there something that happened that will change this pattern?

i got in at 10.90 and have seen +50% to -30% in the last few months

a little frustrating

Listen to their latest CC. I did and did not find any thing in there that would prompt me not to hold this stock in the signle digits.

They have the absolutely greatest technology. The NV30 delay is due to production issues with the 0.13u copper process. If NVDA is true to its history, this product will absolutely blow away the competition. We will know in about a week when it launches on Nov 18 (comdex).

They are also rapidly coming on strong in the chipset market. See the latest NFORCE2 review on Tom's hardware. It's judged to be the best Athlon XP chipset on the market now- and it's just the second itteration of that chipset.

These guys have what it takes to grow in new segments and consolidate existing ones.

Don't be frustrated. Play the swings. Buy in the single digits and (I've been) sell(ing) CC's in the $13-$15 range.

This time I'm also going to sell more naked puts in the $8 range. They are cash flow positive with a very strong new product cycle coming on line- both in the very high end graphic chipset market and the NFORCE2 chipsets.

Just my take. Do your own research.

I went to the Product launch event at comdex this morning. The GeoforceFX is the direction of the future. IMHO Nonetheless it was a very impressive event.

Looks like the $10-$11 support held. NVDA looking pretty strong, but the next test is going to be if it can take out the $16+ resistence. Another day or two like yesterday and it'll be no problem. Then again, it can't go straight back up...

GeforceFX looks good. A lot depends on how good its memory architecture is. We'll see. I'm holding on my shares long.
