George, who needs gold today,we need technology.
Gold will be good during the war,not now.
I am in the decision point, reading your bullish and very bearish posts.
Don't fight the tape.
Support 3550 on NDX can become a resistance for the upside and 10,900 on DOW can be the top.

What do you think about pdg and abx's (two aggressive forward sellers) decision to greatly reduce/stop forward selling.

What war?

Agree on DJ and NAZ resistance areas.

Upon reflection Kudlow may not be so far off the mark in seeing gold as the key. To be sure gold prices have long ago decoupled from inflation. But the low gold price does signal that the rest of the world is not now willing to challenge the dollar or our huge trade deficits in a serious way. POG is being manipulated to be sure, but the manipulators would be powerless if foreign CBs were ever to stop accumulating dollars at a breakneck pace. Hard to see a SUSTAINED stock bear until this paradigm is broken.

I am in favor of less forward selling. But as long as the dollar is booming and shorters can borrow all the gold they want at absurdly low interest rates, a real gold bull is out of the question.

redefend itself from Big Brother in the future
Vote Libertarian.
Bring back the Constitution.
Bring back the second amendment and the right to defend ourselves against criminals both non-governmental and governmental.
Bring back Freedom of Choice in All Areas and Responsibility for yourself and your family with NO government help or intervention.
Vote Libertarian
Otherwise I fear we in the U.S. (the country where everyone all over the world wanted to come for freedom and prosperity) will soon be living under fear as was present in Nazi Germany and is no doubt present all over the world right now.

Good luck to all, in the market and especially in life.

Yes indeed!

VIX down to 27 -- fear rapidly receding.

Just what is needed to set the market up for its next big hit.
