Tulvio, I am able to bring up the stories, but they are slow and they put up popup ads :(

Not only do they put up "pop-up ads", which I block,
but they attempt to drop a "spy-ware" cookie from
doubleclick on your system. At various times, they
attempt to retrieve all "doubleclick" cookies by opening
a new browser window in IE to creative networks.

So, as Tulvio inquired, what do you suggest as an alternative news feed ?

Quote.com and Go.com (ABCNews) are OK. For DATEK account holders, I hear their streaming subscription news is VERY good. We are also adding theflyonthewall news headlines.

you probably have Scottrade excluded. Check on the Preferences/Sites List tab.

How do I enable Datek streaming news, as it is not listed as one of the news sources in QT. I have Datek account. Thanks.

How do I enable Datek streaming news

The window that comes up when you choose Streamer off the menu states that Streamer News is available for a monthly charge of $29.99 ($99 for professional users).

There is also a link for more information that seems to depend on context so go there to find it.

Ah, you can also get there from the Subscriptions menu item in the Account Services menu.
