How would the chart be any different other than the labels on the side?

Hi, I have a problem with interday charts that just developed yesterday. I noticed a couple of them (out of the 6 I run) would plot the bid and ask properly, but the sale price (yellow) line was drawn along the top or bottom edge of the chart.

This morning I did disk maintenance programs, updated QT to latest version, but the problem was worse - 4 out of 6 charts. It had been working fine for the last few weeks.

W2000, Schwab quotes, QT 2.2.0b, cable modem. Got any ideas?

What is the spike filter setting set to in QT? Check if there is a bad quote somewhere in the raw data.

Jerry, I also proposed to introduce this relative change option, in %, on RT charts some time ago. I'd love to have it--it's very useful to see the relative change, not the absolute one. Also, I'd like to have to be able to run through my hist charts offline... Please, it must be doable, to be able to detect if the Internet connection is active or not, and if not, to tell the QT to pick the stored chart GIFs.

P.S. Today, out of 80 X 2 charts, 6-mo. and 10-d for each symbol, several 10-d charts came up again as 4-d and had to be re-loaded to bring them back to their senses. Unfortunately, I forgot to activate the LOG option, but will do it--tomorrow. QT 2.2.0b/Win2K/T-1 or DUP

% Value Change normalizes all charts such that one stock's performance can be directly compared to another on same basis. Slopes of lines drawn on different charts can be compared directly. It is equivalent to a logarithm plot, but much easier to do since you have % Value Change already computed. % scale is ideal for spotting momentum. It is extremely valuable to traders.

On a related topic of using percentage changes, it would be very useful when setting trailing stops to be able to set QT alerts based on the percentage retracement off the daily high or low.

Yes. It would be very useful. Please suggest this to Jerry Medved (as I've used up all my bullets for the day).

Jerry, Can the QT Trade feature be used for trading on multiple accounts with the same broker, specifically Datek, and if so how does it work?
