I am setting QuoteTracker up on a new machine and would like to transfer some chart settings and/or layouts. Anyone recall how to do that? I do think there's a way, but I haven't done it in awhile and forgot.
Thanks

TRANSFERRING FILE FROM DESKTOP->LAPTOP
Find PORT.XML in the QuoteTracker folder and you can save it to a disk or USB drive or you could even e-mail it to yourself to download onto the other computer. Then save it to the QuoteTracker directory on the second computer, overwriting the old file.

OK I got it. Just copied charts.ini from one to the other.

When viewing watchlist, shift/delete is a way to avoid going thru extra steps of pulling up edit folio then hiliting then deleting a stock

Is there a similar way to edit numbers or notes there without those extra steps.

Could not find it quickly in help listings

TIA

Every now/then I come across an error. Just wondering if I can fix it myself or what

This AM KNB.V is 0.76 but the trading symbol, KINBF is 59.15
Likewise MVXFF is 1.176 but the bid/ask is 20/20.02. MVX.TO is 0.40. I know the 1.176 is correct cuz it hasnt traded in long while

This is only important cuz it screws up my totals on the folio, cuz Im holding for a long while.

Sometimes trendlines of historical charts are gone completely.
That happens only to certain symbols.

Anyone seen this? Is there a way to get those lines back?

I have found that this SI site doesnt do too well compared to using the help button and ask over there. That way I get a very fast response from Jerry himself, usually

TDAmeritrade Streamer using price change from the previous close is messed up big time today (Monday 10/13). All my previous closes are from Thursday and not Friday. A refresh doesn't fix it. I had to turn off the "base price change on previous close" in proxy settings to get it right.
