Jerry, I've been having problems with the lines on the charts. Sometimes when a line is drawn and the mouse released the line drawn disappears. Change to a different symbol and the same thing will happen or the line is drawn as it should be....can not come up with any repeating situations to say it happens when such and such is done.
The frustrating part is when the line can not be drawn on the chart, any lines already there will be erased the next time I return to the chart for that symbol. [I keep only one chart open on the second monitor and change symbols frequently using the pin link]
Here's something that just happened and I noticed something unusual. On the OEX All/15 minute chart I drew two trendlines successfully. Trying to draw a third line, while the left mouse button is still down, instead of a normal line image the line that shows is one with an arrow on the right end. When I released the mouse button the line disappeared. The other two lines are still there......until I change to another symbol and return to that chart...then those two lines also disappear without me deleting them.
While on that same chart I re-drew the same three lines and noted the arrow that appeared previously on the third line was not there and the line shows as it should. A bit strange. Restarting QT doesn't help and there is no telling which chart the lines will work or won't.
In addition to the above, on the last two updates, 7b and 7c, QT erased all of the chart data for every indice, stock and option in the current portfolio on the day the update was done...7/13 and 7/14. I can backfill the indices and stocks but the options do not. That's the reason I haven't updated to 7.d.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
