Last spring, cuz of comments made on this bd, I bot a Samsung laser for 50 and then, for my other house, a wireless Samsung laser for 75.

Both work great

EXCEPT the cartridge with the purchase, is much smaller capacity than others available

I am now running a 105L cartiridge which is reputed to give dbl the output

$18 is a indeed a great price for 32 GBs - I use 16 GBs at present and wonder if 32 has slower reading/transfer as some suggest in the Amazon reviews

Laser printers should have no problem, almost all laser drivers are in Windows. Bubble Jet is really old technology and not very common. We used the back in the early 90's.

Okay, good to know. I'm running Windows 7 and I'll keep that link you sent, in case I need to go there for new drivers. The printer is pretty old, more than 6-7 years if I remember. But it sure has been a good one so I hope this idea will let me continue using it.

I'll let everyone know if I encounter any "unsolvable" problems associated with that cable. Newegg will take it back if I can't make it work. Not very concerned about it.

The drivers in that link was for a HP ink printer. What is the make and model of your printer.

The black only printer I'm hoping to restore use of is a Canon BJ-200ex. I just went through some old paper work that makes me think it's perhaps from the last century. ggg I wouldn't be surprised to be told its a dozen years old. It has a lot of miles on it.

This site, not Canon claims to have drivers for Windows 7. Never used that site before:
official-drivers.com
