Thanks for this info. I know that but I also know that not one hole has been poked at RV by mmin/impala. Why not? Impala supposed to fund RV. Yet nada happening.
As for big red antelope I have no clue . PM me if you wish.
cheers
PS
Nice meltdown today. Will take many months for mining market to recover from blue chip high tech meltdown.

If it were PGMs being reported, widely distributed low grade PGMs with some inferred continuity would be of some (minimal) interest. But since results are reported as PGMs + Au combined, who knows.

Good to hear from you, its been awhile.

It will be interesting to see if Impala or others get interested in East Bull Lake to the extent they are involved in the River Valley property. With $2 million in cash and a $6 million JV re. the River Valley property, one can only be impressed with management's ability to get the deal done (i.e. finance its drill programs).

Since Rome was not built in a day, my view of the assays to date is that they at least indicate there is potential for a discovery and that drilling of identified targets is warranted.

What I am most interested in is the River Valley intrusion (size of the intrusion and geology, JVs signed with world's largest PGM producers, PFN's results to date).

If all goes as planned, MMIN will need a warehouse to store the quantity of drill core anticipated from upcoming drill programs.

Fully agree with your comments on the exploration in and near the River Valley intrusion, anyone with an interest in PGMs will be watching these drill programs for some time to come.

Anyone know what the current status of MMIN's initiative to regain full listing?

My understanding is they have applied for CDNX listing, I've heard all OTC stocks will be moving to CDNX but I'm not sure of the timing.

I posted the following on Stockhouse, should be of interest:

"I understand Impala is visiting both of Mustang's PGM properties this week."

Globe says Platexco board supports takeover

Friday Jun 9 2000

The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday edition that Impala Platinum Holdings Ltd., the world's second-largest platinum producer, has made a friendly takeover bid for Platexco Inc., a Toronto-based junior mining working on a significant South African platinum project. Reporter Allan Robinson says that Platexco's board is supporting the bid of $191-million, or $9.50 a share, according to chief financial officer John Green. "Our shareholders will get the money promptly. We are one of the few junior mining companies to get listed, raise funds and eventually sell out at a profit," he says. Platexco shares rose $1.40 to $9.15 on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Thursday. The company expects that a study to determine the financial feasibility of developing the South African platinum project will be completed by the fall. Mr. Green says that early work on the project suggests it could cost $252.5-million to $315.6-million to build the mine, located 240 kilometres northeast of Pretoria in an area that produces more than half of the world's platinum.

DRT, I thought that the traditional route was for stocks on the Canadian Dealer Network to try to graduate to the TSE rather than to the Venture Exchange, in part because the TSE operates the Dealer Network. And there is still a stigma associated in my mind with mineral explorationists coming from either the old Vancouver Exchange or the old Alberta exchange. Besides, if small companies like Nuinsco can be on the TSE, then why can't MMIN.

In Canada, the TSE is now considered a senior equity exchange... MMIN will get there if the path followed bears fruit as anticipated.

Why is this thread so dead? Is MMIN not drilling anywhere?
