GET REAL............................................

Friday was the perfect day to sell if you were long or if you would like a ppppperfect short....

When any stock runs the percent this one has (especially the ones losing money) and you get an "INTRADAY REVERSAL" as we sported on Friday, reality sets in over the weekend. The guys that bought in the 4's or 5's (and believe me there alot of them) are thinking that maybe I should grab the profit before it goes back to the 5's..... The other guys that bought in the beginning of the year and the end of last year are thinking about TAX SELLING.......(this is good tax selling ,since a couple of weeks ago they were going to TAX sell at 2 and change) AND by the way this is the perfect candidate for TAX SELLING... The fence sitter are about to dump..... This stock was the biggest hype on the net and the hype-ster are trying to get it higher again... All the burnt IOM investors will not fall for it again..

ENJOY THE 8'S ...THEY WON"T BE HERE FOR LONG...

"Not only did Friday have a huge pre-announced short assault"

Could you elaborate on this? How was it announced? Who announced it?

Thanks.

Doug.

Allen & Zak, RE: Compaq and Zip.
I work at one of the two largest aerospace companies. We just won a good sized NASA contract and are now populating the offices with new Compaq towers. I'm not sure the model as I'm more of a Mac guy refusing to follow the crowd so far. Anyway, half of those machines have Zips installed, while the other half do not - those are for the lesser crowd.

Hey Tommy. How about the bimbos like you that were screaming that Iomega was oversold at three and change just three weeks ago. Brilliant call my man. A fifty percent loss in less than three weeks. Nothing like a genius short drowning in his own slop ey Piggy Boy? Almost as brilliant as your short on Dell at the beginning of the year. Remember that great quote of yours--"Michael Dell's middle name is disappointment." How about your long on Borland last December, when you trumpeted that it was going well above 37. You remember that Borland, the one that was bought out at 13 this September. Then we have your recent October 22 "bear trap" calls on Cisco, GE, and INTC. They've gone up ten percent in the past three weeks. I think your singular genius though is Iomega. You were long and strong Iomega before the January preannouncement, and you were a bear when Iomega was in the threes. Funny thing is that the only time you seem to have made money is on your after the fact trade two days ago on Iomega. Next to you, Howdy Doody is a genius.

And for those people who haven't been over to the other Iomega thread I present for your viewing pleasure the best of Jock and Tommy "Piggy Bank" Smith:

All... Micro Center is pushing the superdisk in this months mailer in its PowerSpec line. There is a little ribbon stating the systems are " superdisk ready " , funny thing is their top of the line system with a built in zip ( didn't know they had a zip built in ) also has the Superdisk Ready ribbon on the add. There is a special on LS-120 Superdisk drive with 5 disks for $79.00 after a $50.00 mail in rebate. This is the 1st real adds I've seen for the LS-120s. They can't be making money at these prices, sound like a syqt business plan. FWI.

BTW Allen... Compaq has been shipping units with Zips for 1.5 to 2 years now. I think the 4814 was the first model.

Sounds more like the Iomega business plan. After all, Iomega is selling their Zip drives at a loss too.

Could someone please post the whole article and a link that works.
I'm not sure if this is a pure rumor or real news...

Thanks,

Fred

From the local Fremont California Newspaper the Argus is a story about the dire situation at SYQT and rumors of an Iomega take over.

If Jock were to follow his own set of New Thread Rules, he wouldn't be allowed to post there- assuming he behaves the way he does here.

Just today we have him hurling personal attacks and calling one Tommy Smith a "Bimbo," ridiculing his trading, and mocking him as a "Genius Short." Not to mention Jock's convenient omission of facts time and time again.

This is the sort of trash best left on the Yahoo IOM Thread. Since Jock now desires to move away from this thread, maybe that's where he would feel more at home.

The self-righteous hypocrisy that goes on here is amazing.

I covered Iomega in my post pertaining to Mr. Smith. If you use the links in my posts, you will see all the facts you want. And the proposed rules were designed to protect you my sweet little pet. But in retrospect, the proposed rules were a poor idea. moreover,
