I came out of my chair when Tiger dropped that 200 yarder out of the 18th fairway and just on the edge of green over the lake. The crowd joined me in the roar. And I thought, "He's back!" He will disappoint us again, I'm sure, but that was the way to come out of his slump.
Jack summed it up when asked about Tiger's chances of beating his record. He said, "the equipment is so much better and the golfers are in such better shape than we were that I don't think he will have a problem beating me before he quits." |
