I think our new governor may be one of the few politicians that does not lie. You may have heard of him, Jesse (the body) Ventura. On the news the other night some people were complaining about him not supporting state "benefits" for single parents and his answer was "I don't mean to be callous, but why did you become a single parent". They sure didn't like to hear that one. He obviously tells people what he thinks and not what he thinks they want to hear like the typical politician. He said he will tell the truth to the people whether they like it or not. So far he seems to be holding up that end. It's about time someone started to ask people to be responsible for the choices THEY made.

Well here we go, this sounds like a comittment to me:
If you "enter" the PNLK site ( I am a full member), the crawling text at the bottom of the screen shows the following phrases which are repeated over and over:
"Pronetlink will launch at end of March"
"Today's news (click here)"
"Pronetlink will launch at end of March"
"Search over 2.75 million companies worldwide"
"During the FREE TRIAL you will have limited access to some features"
"Pronetlink will launch at end of March"

it then just repeats the above. I think we may have a firm time frame here, they must be pretty confident to put this right up front on the website once you enter.

Comments anyone????/
Todd

March sounds good, but I recall Click's Mr. Greenberg saying April.
We all know how 'sensitive' this thread can be when it comes to 'time
frame' . So for now I suggest we should not try to nail down the exact
date, let's just say March-April. How about that ?

Regards

I'm just reporting a factual observation. Perhaps the April is a "just to play it safe" date. Obviously, the March date had to be approved by Glenn and Dave to get put out into the public's view. Either way, its getting pretty close.

<<Immense Implications Regarding PNLK partner.......AND..for ProNetLink>>

Is D&B fer us or agin us?

I hope co-sponsorship of the IBE with PNL portends a great working relationship, because DB's alliance with SAP and others could be formidable, otherwise.

Of course, any associative tie-in would indeed be immense! This may indicate more collaboration than competition on the horizon.

I like our odds. I floated my 1.25 bobber out there and caught some more PNL shares yesterday.

Thanks for the article.

Yes he is a scum bucket. No doubt about that. Actually those were kind words...I've got a few better ones but I'd probably be tossed off by the SI membership committee for saying them. LOL

But look on the bright side.

If any of us (the "ordinary" people) are ever required to testify before a Grand Jury....we get to lie our faces off and not get punished for it. The highest law enforcer in the land has just set the precedent for lying. A dangerous precedent but it is a precedent nevertheless. It is in the history books not to mention all case law that it is OK to lie on an "as need" basis. Who can now dispute that perjury or obstruction of justice is a criminal offense?

The downside is...that criminals will abound.

Sad but true,
Helene

Mr. Geenkeeper, you had posted awhile back a concern regarding PNLK competition and/or others trying to do the same. Do you remember this?

Anyway, amoung those in competition with PNLK, can you tell us how many of these reside on an AT&T network backbone? How many of them will be presented at the IBE Expo? What are their price ranges for membership? What type of alliances do they have with other companies.

I thought you would be the best one to ask since you have a listing of competition on hand. Thanks Greenkeepr.

Right. Who cares about the sex? I don't....none of the people have talked to don't.

This isn't about sex...although some try to make it out to be just to take the heat off. If he can lie so convincingly about a little sex here and there.....what else has he lied about? Who will trust any word he utters? Not me. Not a lot of folks.

The Senate made a big mistake as far as I'm concerned.

Hey...I'm entitled to my opinion.

Helene
