Microphonics and Delco Remy International Continue Indy Car Effort

NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Microphonics (OTC Bulletin Board: MRPS) today announced it will once again team up with Delco Remy International (NYSE: RMY-news) to sponsor the #35 Delco Remy-Microphonics-Thermo Tech ISM Racing G Force/Aurora/Goodyear entry driven by Steve Knapp in the Longhorn 500 presented by MCI World Com at the Texas Motor Speedway. Knapp, who qualified at 24.891 sec with a speed of 210.438 mph and will start 17th, commented: (About the Indianapolis 500) "Everyone on the Delco Remy International-Microphonics-Prolong ISM Racing team tried very hard for that great race. I would have liked to run all day, but we learned a lot and we'll come back strong for Texas."
The race will be televised live on Saturday June 12,1999 at 7:30 pm EDT and can be seen on the Fox Sports
Network.
