FREEHOLD, N.J., Sep 19, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- stereoscape.com, inc. (OTC-BB: SSCP) today announced that a 15 for 1 stock split of its common shares will be effective at the close of business on September 29, 2000.
At the Company's Annual Shareholder meeting this morning all proposals were approved by an overwhelming vote. Among other proposals passed at the meeting, the shareholders approved an increase in its authorized shares to 200,000,000, thereby paving the way to complete the previously announced stock split. The increase in authorized common stock is just another step the Company is taking toward achieving its goals. With the additional authorized shares the Company is currently looking to diversify and acquire other Internet related companies via accretive stock transactions. These companies may be spun-off to the Company's shareholders to enhance overall shareholder value.
