Meanwhile the managers of the company no doubt got their salaries, bonuses and Ice Water, including Bernie. There was no Ice Water or cash left for shareholders or creditors who went to Hell without passing Go.

Worked out good for me....... :-)

In defence of Bernie Schwartz, it saved on the cost of lawyers

Yes, I guess I never looked at it that way.. I mean lawyers cost what?? 5 or 10 million dollars????

The constellation of defect ridden satellites cost about 3 Billion of shareholder money.

You are correct. No need to foolishly spending a couple million on lawyers in an attempt to recoup 3 Billion Dollars in defective hardware.

Tim Farr: >>>It also doesn’t sound much like Globalstar wants a new agreement with Open Range once Globalstar’s ATC authority is renewed...<<< chimes over at his TMF MSS blog in an August 29, 2011 comment in an ongoing dialog between ORBITRAX (aka PCSTEL) & dane over various and sundry ATC spectrum management, grandfathering and interference issues in the 8.18.11 Going nuclear? posting at tmfassociates.com that also includes Globalstar’s latest [as of august 25th] "chime in", er, FCC filing on these matters at: fjallfoss.fcc.gov

Perhaps Mr Farr should look into the ownership of Open Range and G* and then make some informed comments.

just curious, but did Mr Vayda look into/read/grok the referenced/cited FCC filing In Totality before making His "informed" comments?

this naive simpleton high school dropout's reading/grokking of said FCC filing: Mr Farr's comments were Some Pretty Well Informed Ones/SPOT-ON! (pun not intended :D)
