Yeah, it's either a great time to load up the truck or run for cover to dodge the falling knives. Take your pick.

It looks like a RECESSION that will persist. From being up fifty thousand I am now down below that and each day go lower.

I thought that bottom had been reached but evidently not. WHAT is in store is anyone's guess....We are about where we were in 2007 or 2008 are we not ?

I have a growing list of things that look juicy to buy but the headline uncertainty day to day is holding me back, so far.

The problem I have with the Baytex deal is that they seem to have paid a very high price for little current production.

How many years will it take for the acquisition assets to generate enough cash flow to cover 10% interest on $311 million debt?

Once the production is up to 1295/day is noted in the slide, that production alone generates more than $40 million revenue per year. I suspect the real value is in the undeveloped acreage and the production to come there in the next 1-3 years.

And like all explorers, MHR can tweak its cash flow as needed by adjusting capex and/or selling some of the acreage. This isn't a huge speculative bet, it's an ambitious expansion.
