DaiS: I meant earnings of .10/share if those countries are approved. IMHO, a share price of 10.00 is anybody's guess. As you are undoubtedly aware, last year this stock could jump from 6.00/ share to 14.00/share in one days time with no news. Recently, VVUS went from $2.00 and change to 6 very quickly. IMHO, in order for the stock to render a sustainable advance, there needs to be substantive news, along with decent follow through on the part of management. I temper those statements with the realization that VVUS is traded on the NASDAQ. Anything is possible. VVUS appears to be slowly reestablishing their credibility with the street. Whereas in the past, the street gave management the benefit of the doubt, e.g., the stock price before having a product to market, credibility be more difficult to earn this time around. The tide seems to be turning, although slower than most of us would like. Betty Moyers has made several of these observations previously, and I have to agree with her.
Impressed with the fact that VVUS held up today as well as it did. I prefer a management that understates expectations, and then exceeds them, rather that the opposite. I can say that the financial personnel that have recently been hired are competent. Additionally, the new board members are much more proactive than their predecessors. The longs on this thread aren't the only ones fed up with some of the antics we've witnessed with the trading activity we've seen. Maybe some pay back is on the way (and in order.)
Enough of this keyboard stuff.
Regards to all.
