Wouldn't VVUS have to do Phase I, II, and III studies? I know the main part of Muse Phase III studies (the "at-home" part) took 3 months per patient. And was enrollment staggered? Probably. There were also in-clinic and open-label parts to the Phase III studies.

I think he was misquoted or it was taken totally out of context. It seems like a shabby journalism job on that line. At least I hope it was.

Ok thinking about the term clitoris cream...

Here's an ignorant question, how do pharmas come up with names for their drugs? How soon do they come up with one? While submitting approval for Phase I?

Maybe, while we wait for up to 2 years, we can have a little contest to come up with one and use it instead of "clitoris cream", maybe even submit it to Vivus....their IR/PR dept. needs help anyways.

Can anyone also, briefly, run down the 3 phases and usual timelines?

I think the idiot was trying to do a comparison of Muse vs Clit cream, but of course he managed to bad mouth our only product in the process.

And speaking of shorting, I hate to talk about A@P for fear of their wrath... but what did they base their short @ 5 1/2 and cover @ 4 1/8? It didn't seem like they based it on any fundamental reason only the fact that VVUS ran up 120% (which only made it down 88% from its high not 95%). I wish these people would come in when VVUS drops 25% on a given day for no good reason.

I also wished VVUS had a small news release of ANYTHING today..like a milestone payment, I think that would have staved off the 20% drop.

If this CC product does formalize I will relish in the media frenzy that should come about. It didn't seem like it made too many headlines for the potential it could bring
