All of this speculation is just hot air. Double the sales of MUSE and you will see an appreciable rise in the stock price otherwise we "ain't goin nowhere".

Little Gorilla <<However, I must disagree with your conclusion. You're being too polite. As a native American, I feel quite comfy calling a spade a spade.>>

Can you possibly explain to me why someone with a made up name would need another made up name to post on a different Board? It makes absolutely no sense to me. What is the advantage or disadvantage? Have you ever considered that other people actually read these boards and use information as part of their own posts? As an example, RT picked up some of my work back in January. Message 7267104

Investment boards are purely for entertainment and hopefully good conversation ....and have no impact on the price of a stock. When was the last time you saw a Little Gorilla or a BigKNY3 being interviewed on CNBC or quoted in Barrons? Do you think it would effect the price of a stock....Not likely.

You might feel "quite comfy in calling a spade a spade", but you probably are often uncomfortable when you wrongly attack someone's honesty.

<<According to the American Heart Association, if you followed a cohort of 4 million US men over 50 years old over an 11 month period, how many cardiovascular deaths in this group could you expect.

a. 50- 100 b. 350- 700 c. 3,000- 5,000 d. 6,000- 9,000 e 10,000-15,000>>

Times up. The correct answer is d.(6,000-9,000).

Female Sexual Dysfunction Patent Granted toVIVUS; VIVUS Plans Diversification of R&D

March 8, 1999 09:04 AM
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--(BW HealthWire)--March 8, 1999--VIVUS, Inc. VVUS has been issued patent no. 5877216 for the "Treatment of Female Sexual Dysfunction" by the U.S. Patent Office.

This patent provides VIVUS with broad protection for the commercialization of topical formulations of vasodilating agents and steroid hormones for the treatment of sexual dysfunctions effecting women. Therapeutic opportunities include treatments for women with arousal and orgasm dysfunction, the enhancement of vaginal lubrication, and the improvement of vaginal muscle tone.

"This important patent underscores VIVUS' commitment to diversify its research and development efforts within urology beyond the treatment of male erectile dysfunction," stated Leland Wilson, President and CEO of VIVUS, Inc.

Founded in 1991, VIVUS, Inc. is a leader in the development of advanced therapeutic systems for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, commonly referred to as impotence. VIVUS has pioneered a novel therapy for erectile dysfunction known as the transurethral system for erection. This therapy consists of a proprietary, non-invasive drug delivery system that delivers pharmacologic agents via the urethra.

Note to editors and investors: Additional written materials, recent releases and Company information are available through a variety of sources, including the VIVUS home page (www.vivus.com) and the VIVUS Fax-On-Demand Service (1-888-329-5719).

Uh, sorry ViagraUser, but there's a slight flaw in your logic. So I don't have to waste my time doing a search, tell me again, what is your reason for posting so many messages on the VVUS board?

>>you probably are often uncomfortable when you wrongly attack someone's honesty.<<

You should know that you are the one of the few people on this board who is completely untrustworthy when it comes to your motives, who you are, etc... The only messages of yours that are worthwhile are the ones in which you post a URL. Even then, it's the URL that is of interest, not the gobblygook of yours that surrounds it. I'm very confident, and therefore very comfy, when it comes to my impression of you.

Was this the exciting news which prompted your recent enthusiasm to purchase more VVUS shares? Does this mean that every company that intends to market a cream for female erectile dysfunction must now PAY Vivus a royalty to distribute their products.
This sounds like a serious blow to HVSF (Harvard Scientific) which was experimenting with female rabbits. Does this patent cover ED for female rabbits as well as humans? <gg>>
