Alert -- stupid question here...

I just read the patent info. What the heck is the invention? It's like their claiming the rights to everything that may possibly work. They even have MCHM's transdermal delivery system in there:

>>The formulations may also include one or more components to enhance permeation of the vasodilating agent, i.e., "permeation enhancers." Suitable permeation enhancers include those generally useful in conjunction with topical, transdermal or transmucosal drug delivery. Examples of suitable permeation enhancers include... SEPA.RTM. (available from Macrochem Co., Lexington, Mass.)...<<

Just a prediction, not a conclusion. Remember, this is an ongoing dialogue, not a pissing contest.

So I'll put the question to you, Stang. If the A/Z merger were concluded today... and two months were to pass and no partnership deal were announced, would you conclude that A/Z is NOT going to be a marketing partner?

If the claims are "not obvious" they may have MCHM beaten on the female anorgasmic and dysparunia treatment side.

<<<I just read the patent info. What the heck is the invention? It's like their claiming the rights to everything that may possibly work. They even have MCHM's transdermal delivery system in there:>>>

I read the patent, I agree it looks very broad to me:

164.195.100.11

But, if they can pull it off and defend it, they will have an immediate product potential.

Shaking the tree for sellers under 2 1/2, there aren't any.
At least not today.

>>In addition to treatment of sexual dysfunction, the formulations of the invention have other uses as well. They may be administered vaginally to prevent the occurrence of yeast infections, to improve vaginal muscle tone and tissue health, to enhance vaginal lubrication, and to minimize collagen misdeposition associated with hypoxia.<<

I think the "other uses" are more interesting. Just go into any Walgreens -- treatments for yeast infections take up half an aisle, for crying out loud. If they could be PREVENTED, hallelujah. Same for "vaginal lubrication", which in my book is the horse that comes before the "sexual dysfunction" cart (I'm assuming by "sexual dysfunction", they really mean "orgasm dysfunction").

Sorry if I grossed anyone out.

How about a press release from VVUS for starters... If this is NEWS, then why are they sitting on it! Expect another "blow their wad all at once" press release in a month.

Maybe somebody should advise VVUS IR to check this thread for possible press releases. I'd do it, but for some reason, I've never been able to obtain a response. Regards. PS: Hi Curt. Great weather we're having!!!

Curt,

I suspect Nina is busy working on this latest thing-a-ma-jig in Lelands private office, besides it's not easy writing a press release when your legs are in stirrups.
