feel
like a top? I should be getting hit with champagne corks in the eye instead of a bottle smashed on my head. No joy in Mudville. Feels more to me like the bull hasn't even gotten going in earnest yet. That seminar might be a good place to hook up with a rich divorcee or widow though...so there may be some value in it, LOL.

Were you able to listen to Jim Puplava interviewing Eric Townsend? He's travelling the world looking for a comfortable place for an American to live. His favorite places so far are Chile and New Zealand. His girlfriend and travelling companion has a food and travel blog.

Definitely! Very interesting. Aside from his being much younger and richer, I thought we had much in common... including a preference for the first world and Europe. I didn't care so much for Chile or Uruguay... nothing so negative, but nothing so positive. I am thinking of checking out New Zealand next winter... their summer. Towards the end of the interview I remember Eric leaning towards NOT making a decision about where to live... instead just sampling and/or rotating among different places. That's kind of what I'm doing, but trying to arrive when the weather's nice and leave before it's not or the tourists get too thick.
