Yes, I was thinking that this could be an opportune time to add some mining shares... maybe another 1 to 3 days before they are ready to begin a sustained rally.

It seems they, including Europeans, are buying gold at every USD rally.

Cramer was asked about gold last night, he said you have to own gold because supply is not increasing even with POG in the 1700's and demand is "voracious".

"Let the trading freaks knock it down, THEY DON'T KNOW JACK!"

He is exactly right this time. LOL

I don't know where the physical gold came from to fill those orders, but it would be a very dangerous game if we are selling "our gold". I guess they don't think some sort of gold standard is heading our way. Well...who cares about the long term at DC.

OTOH, if most of the so called "our gold" actually belong to the Fed they can do any thing they want to preserve/extend the life of their paper dollar note as long as they can. After that, taxpayers take all of the crap they left behind.

Or, the Fed is selling gold to the market while some insiders are buying it for their personal foreign accounts. Our gold becomes their gold. Can this happen.? ..I wonder.

Why people are selling instead of buying? Liquidity problems? Well...just announce bankruptcy.. let others to hold the bags and taxpayers will bail them out.

As Barney Stinson says, "Wait for it!".

"History does not repeat itself, but it does rhyme."

I found this from last September...

RIC brought in the Chairman of ANV. See news in January 2012. We know what he did for ANV. And as I posted earlier Chamandy is a force to be reckoned with.

<<<Bob Buchan Vice-Chairman of the Board
Mr. Buchan is Executive Chairman of Allied Nevada Gold Corp., and has been since the company was formed in 2007. Prior to that he was one of the founding shareholders of Katanga Mining Limited and acted as that company's Chairman from 2004 until 2007. In 1993 he founded Kinross Gold Company and acted as that company's CEO until he retired in 2004. Currently he is on the Board of Directors of a number of other companies in the resource business, including as Chairman of Polyus Gold International Limited, Russia's largest gold mining company.

Mr. Buchan has been a Director and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Richmont Mines since January 2012. >>>

Wasamac has 3 million ounces + counting the inferred.
stockwatch.com

RIC produces more ounces per share than any company I know of.

RIC has more ounces per $$$ of market cap than most mines especially ones I want to invest in. JAG and DMM may be higher but they have major problems.

RIC is set for huge production growth. Bringing on Francoeur, Monique a cheap starter open pit, Wasamac is huge and a game changer as Martin Rivard said in a recent interview on web page.

2012 Corporate Exploration and Definition Drilling Plan and Budget

Richmont plans to complete more than 100,000 metres of exploration drilling during 2012

Very low share count

Great cash.

All in safe jurisdiction.

Leveraged to gold price.

They made 81cents per share while NGD was at 42 cents.
