I've been asked if the characters in the logo represent real people? I know some do. Is there a list anywhere with the names?

Yes, but you have to believe that each of us existed in a prior lifetime.
(i.e.) Once Upon A Time beta.abc.go.com 

The SI cartoon people also showned as prior life cartoon people, as follows.

The blonde in the middle is my cousin, Jill, who created the original artwork nearly 20 years ago. Other than that, the only one modeled after a real person is the older gentleman...Andy Warhol.



We added him to the party in July per a request for more age diversity:

I plan to have the wardrobe updated to 2012 fashion when we roll out SI 2.0 next year. Then it will be easy to distinguish between SI 2.0 and SI "Classic".
