Rather than suggest this outright, I'll see if others have an opinion on this one way or another...

I'm wondering if with todays faster processors, drives, and net access whether it makes sense to have an "all years" option for the advanced search. You see, I'm bad with dates. If I want to search for something I read/wrote years ago I'll go to the advanced search, start with an early year, and keep progressing to the next until I find what I want. It's a bit cumbersome but certainly workable. I would still keep the individual years option, or perhaps modify it with a start and end range of dates instead, but am wondering if others would find this "all years" option useful if bandwidth is not an issue.
