Buzz, we seem to be under some downward pressure. But, the upside potential is higher. SEG did not turn around yet, once they turn around, you'll see this tock move up.

Jim, when SEG begins recovering I'll be a buyer of STMD stock. I am guessing we will see a marked improvement towards the end of the first quarter. The estimate for the current quarter is -0.15 and as low as that is, it is a great improvement over the last two quarters. STMD is getting lean and mean.

SEG and WDC are both low at this time. Once they turn around, STMD will follow. For the time being, they should at least build a company WEB site. Those guys are really slopy, aren't they.

Jim, more than likely the short position is a lot less now--the short interest is calculated as of the 15th of the month and with STMD reporting on the 22nd and the Asian market situation of this past week, I would expect most of the shorts have taken advantage of the situation and exited --stage left.--I could be wrong but I always figure they take their money and run--at least that is what I would do--I don't think STMD has too much give left in it at this price and it would hardly be worth it to the shorts to stick around any longer.

Buzz, I hope shorts are still here digging in. :) There is are good words about WDC and the DD sector in Baron's. The turn around is seems to be coming.
