Yep, already brought up those points.....what royalties will the courts award? What do investors expect?? What will Samsung and others be doing? Will the 3 amigos settle ( sure they will now...) and what will settlement be?

and on and on and on and on and on......

The good thing for longs is rmbs may not be doing much, but it is holding key resistance levels.....many times on low volume......My guess is she trends in this area until some news comes out and jars her up or down...more likely up for now, imo....very good news could send her up a very nice %......

FTC Appeals Rambus Ruling

3/5/2004

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission this week appealed a U.S. Administrative Law Judge's ruling last week that heavily favored Rambus Inc.

The judge last week issued a 348-page opinion that strongly favored Rambus in the FTC case against the memory interconnect IP company.

The FTC case centered on Rambus's participation in the JEDEC Solid State Technology Association's standardization efforts and the patents Rambus subsequently won.

The appeal will send the case before the full commission, a spokeswoman said.

When they filed the 'intent' to appeal, I think it was fairly obvious the FTC would indeed appeal. Frankly, this is just fine for rmbs....had they not appealed, I still don't think rmbs would be any higher then it is right now. But, now that the FTC is indeed appealing, and will more then likely lose said appeal, that may be another 'good news' boost for the stock.

KG... "Just my opinion though, which isn't worth much <g>."

I won't disagree with you on that. As for the rest of your message, nobody cares about what GREEN SLIME thinks of Rambus. He's is, as you would say, entitled to his own opinion just as everybody else is. Surely you can see that it goes beyond that. That people just dislike him for his condescending attitude. He has no friends on this board. Hell most like Bilow more than they do him, including myself.

Now for the rest of your message... about the hungry, homeless, etc. If you really believe in what you are saying then I have to ask why YOU are here? Why aren't you out preaching the Good Book or something to that effect. I can tell that you would make a good preacher. Who knows maybe you could lay your hands on SLIME'S head and cure him like the TV preachers do with their congregation members.

First, if you don't think my opinion is worth much, why do you seek my opinion on several issues? Kind of a little hypocritical, don't you think? As far as Don goes, I don't see him doing too much other then posting news and occasionaly discussing a topic, but regardless, Don and what he does or did, is none of my concern. It's the simple point that for whatever reason, people would rather insult each other, rather then discuss this stock, and this is a stock that could have alot of discussion if people wanted.

You say I would make a good preacher?? I should go out and teach the good book?? LOL, no offense, but I am not religous. Not at all....and my points had nothing to do with religion...my points were more social/political...not even remotely religous.....All I said was the world is going to hell in a handbasket and it is not good if we can't even get along on a stupid message board..does not bode well in the grand scheme..and yes, that our country has priorities out of whack. How can a country tolerate homeless children living under bridges while guys get paid millions to play a game....and yes, that folks here on this board would probably look at things in a different view if they were in different shoes.....Don't see much religion there, pal......just a realistic viewpoint of some social/political matters...

As to why I am here, I have already been over this many times....I have followed rmbs for a long time....I have been long several times as well..I have both made a ton on rmbs ( stock) and lost a ton on rmbs ( leaps)....and who knows, I may want to again be long one day....or not...but unless I follow this stock, I cannot make an educated decision as to take another position or not, and if so, when......Additionally, I am keeping an eye on the premiums as it could turn into a good CC writing vehicle...I don't need home runs...I'll settle for singles and doubles all day long, and writing CC's on this stock may present that opportunity...especially with her now in a flat trend...but premiums are still not enough for me to do a buy and write right now......

In any event, I think your a funny guy...first for saying my opinion isnt worth anything, only to then ask me how many questions?? <LMAO>.... and secondly, for taking the most non-religous person on the planet and claiming I should be a preacher and asking why am I not out preaching the good book <ggg>...

One more thing.....are you claiming to be everyone?

You can certainly speak for yourself and maybe a few others whose opinions you already know, but to make a statement claiming NOBODY cares....well, I just don't think you speak for the entire world....I for one, like to hear all sides of a discussion...the good and the bad...and why people think the way they do...and I suspect most good investors also like to keep an open mind and hear everything they can before making their own educated decisions....

I agree, very funny.....so how do you explain saying my opinion is worth nothing but then go on to ask me all sorts of questions??? If my opinion is worth nothing, why do you care? Seems you would simply ignore those whose opinions you think are worthless....but, go figure!

LOL, he posted actual news items and attempted to briefly discuss them rationally and unbiased, yet you poke fun of him.

Meanwhile, all you contribute is "BUY NOW OR YOU LOSE AND I WIN" Posts....

LMAO

I think I am better off going back into lurk mode and let you folks continue as you were.....This is just too much like Yahoo...more jerry springer junk then actual stock discussion......it is a shame though, that this stock cannot be discussed rationally between adults with open minds........Good luck to all.....
