Then just navigate to the file and open it.

As Eric mentioned, would buys and sells then be matched up when this file is opened in Excel?

What I'm getting at can a transactions spreadsheet in Excel be updated nitely with Penson data in under five minutes?

Hello to All.

I wanted to take just a moment to say thanks to all of our customers and members of the general public who stopped by the CyBerCorp.com booth to say "Hi!" this past weekend at the International Day Trading Expo.

For those of you that have not read any of the coverage, the Expo was an incredible event that was packed full of information on a broad range of service and content providers.

Being in the Online business means that we do not often have the privilege of face-to-face interaction with people. During the show we unveiled the new CyBerTrader 2.0 AND were able to get one on one feedback on all of our products and services. This is a truly invaluable interaction, and we thank each of you for your time and consideration.

Special thanks to Tim Bourquin and Jim Sugarman for organizing a truly spectacular show.

In response to a couple of Private Messages, we expect to hear formal word on an East Coast Expo for sometime in the spring of 2000.

Can anyone tell me if CyberTrader Time and Sales data lag during the first 10 - 30 minutes of trading every day?

I'm curious if this is still a Nasdaq issue.

I don't use CyberTrader, but I do use CyberX + QCharts. I noticed this lag also on QCharts, so I would expect that it's a NASDAQ problems.

At market open, I keep a close watch on Time and Sales versus Level II. If they get out of sync, I suspect late prints. At that point, I monitor Level II Bid/Ask even more closely and pay less attention to the Time and Sales.

Thanks for the info. My T/S are out of sync within the first minute EVERY DAY.

If this happens to you with QCharts it must still be a Nasdaq problem.

Actually, I was referring to very fast moving stocks. I've only noticed this with specific stocks. Perhaps because it's more obvious there. I don't believe I've seen this on slower moving stocks. I'll watch it more carefully tomorrow to get a better sense.

QCharts has highly compressed data, so it's bandwidth requirements are a lot lower. I don't know if this provides improved 1st minute performance for stocks that are just normally fast, but not violently fast (where we have seen the T/S problem).

No, this is ALL stocks EVERY day for at least the first 10 minutes.

After this period it doesn't matter how fast the stock is moving, there is no lag.

If you place a Cyber-limit order *outside* the inside bid/ask does it work only the orders at the inside or will it simultaneously go beyond the inside to make the fill?

Say for example you see on the bid

----
MLCO 34 200
ISLD 33 7/8 1000

If I place a sell 1000 limit 33 7/8 what will Cyber-limit do?

BTW: I'd love to see a "route only to ECN's" option.
