Don't know if they're any good or not, but Cincy has a tall pitching staff:

A PHOTOGRAPHER TOOK a photograph of the seven tallest Reds’ pitchers standing in line shoulder-to-tall shoulder — all of whom stand 6-foot-5 or taller.

Bronson Arroyo, standing 6-fofot-4, was looking at the photo as it was being signed by those in it. Said Reds media relations director to Arroyo, “You didn’t make the cut.”

Logan Ondrusek (6-foot-8) saw Mat Latos (6-foot-6) in the photo and said, “You barely made it.” Unflushed, Latos said, “Yeah, but I can kick your butt.”

You know what, I'm all for having a beer after work... Baseball players are well paid for what amounts to playing a children's game... Save the beer drinking and partying for after the game...

A's nightmare come true - Sizemore out for year

sfgate.com

As the A's had feared since players heard a "pop" when Scott Sizemore injured his left knee Saturday, the only real everyday third baseman on their roster is lost for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

I'm with you Jake! I don't see anything wrong with beer in the clubhouse, to drink after the game, as long as they act responsibly.

What ever happened to only punishing the guilty? These days, if two or three people screw up, the whole group has to pay the price.

I would punish the two or three that were guilty.

If I catch you drinking a beer while the game is on, a $5,000 fine per beer.

It seems a little hypocritical to me that you have 20 clubs with a "no alcohol" rule in the clubhouse, yet let them win a Divisional Title or the World Series, and the place is flowing with alcohol. Sheesh.

I guess this means lots of Red Sox players will be making appearances in the stands... to sign autographs. Yeah, that's the ticket!
