Enough Movement for you today Linda? Is this board dead or what? I must confess that I've been lurking on the Yahoo and Go boards. I hope it doesn't offend anyone if I repost here.

Steve Jobs, 2/99:

"The competition this past Thanksgiving and holiday season was more fierce than ever in the history of animation. Toy Story 2 [sic] had virtually no competition during its release window during the 1995 holiday season. It's possible that history may repeat itself in this regard, Toy Story 2 - scheduled for release this Thanksgiving - so far has no other direct animated feature releases scheduled for this holiday season. . . It looks like smoother sailing than this past [1998] holiday season."

Does the 10K contradict this? It seems to, but the 10K is a legal document meant to protect Pixar. I prefer the above statement regarding the competition.

Also, who is the competition?

Warner Bros.: Quest for Camelot and The King and I NOT!!

Universal: Babe: Pig in the City NOT!!!

Nickelodeon & Dreamworks: Yes, they'll still be competing.

TWO DOWN, TWO TO GO!!
