re reverse split

In the mean time I have been wondering if there can be an economically justifiable reason for any of the institutional holders to support a
reverse split...

Don't know what Dan Scovel meant when he was quoted in an article
(Gazette) recently that this issue has to be looked at from a "greater good" perspective... I see no greater-good-benefit in making "investment boutiquers richer"... and there're numerous recent examples of LU,IBM,and HWP supporting cash-strapped business partners... IMO it would be for the greater good to put constraints on such deals in some form...starting with the naming (RIPP'em-OFFs would be very suitable -IMHO) This way management is forced to plan ahead and "investment boutiquers" would have to earn a proper living...common holders would be more important (as a source of finance) - those that can't get the financing are obviously no good in any case - I'll stop here; but if anybody meets Dan Scovel maybe they could pass my question on... Mr Ignoranti doesn't understand...

Regards
Jonas
