Janice - timber and the land on which it is grown is my business for thirty years now.
The over-riding market fact at the moment is that like all commodities, wood is cheap.
I don't know for sure, but I expect that our local experience applies somewhat world-wide, and anybody selling land at this point in the cycle is giving it away. Haven't lurked the 'wood' thread, am real busy .... cheers
