Hi Roger,
I have been at ETRADE since Jan 1996 so I have seen all the changes. They are OK for bulletin board stocks and this is the only reason that I stay there. It is also a good place to keep your cash because the interest rates (although NOT federally insured)are good. I make from 500 to 1000 transactions a year. At a savings of $10 per trade over a years time that amounts to good pocket money.
By all means stay with the place that you are satisfied with. I WILL!!!
