Air Methods will announce quarterly earnings this Thursday the 5th of November. There will be a conference call after the close, at 4:45 PM EST. Telephone number (973) 628 7055 This is the earliest I have ever seen this company report. Hopefully they are in a hurry to release good news. I just read today that H D Brous is calling for 11 cents for the quarter. That is a little higher than my 8 cent estimate. However it is possible they might reach that number if all the quarter-to-quarter variables align positively. The variable factors include: 1-weather and its impact on flight hours 2-collections by Mercy of its patient bills 3-maintenance expenses in excess of budget 4-extra expenses related to setting up new programs 5-unusual variations in the manufacturing business i.e the wire harness difficulty All but the last two are very difficult to predict. I think I will stick to my 8 cents, but even that number makes the stock very cheap. Until Thursday. Elliot
