Without trading cards, speculative movie rights and other seasonal hype, Topps is worth about $6 a share on their bubble gum and lollipop buisness alone. No its not glamorous or trendy, but it supplements the seasonal nature of their other products and has been generally ignored by inverstors. If basball has another strike and the movie bombs, they still have a substantial buisness.
