Here's one to think about. MCI recently purchased two satellites from SS/L (Tempo Program). I have heard that because of its financial difficulties MCI has lost the two orbital slots that it was planning to use these satellites in. Now it owns two satellites it can't use. These birds are expensive--that's a lot of $$ to have just sitting around. Sounds like it's time for a little fire sale. Do we have any bidders??? Beats me.
