Now that the issue of NXP's valuation has been snuffed out, it is funny how the news feed has shifted from that deal not happening to Broadcom being a better place for Qualcomm assets. The soap opera part is right. It's just one affair after another.
It's also amazing how Broadcom is playing the role of sideshow spoiler in Qualcomm's dispute with Apple just like they did when their other wannabe customer, Nokia started balking. Some things seem obvious yet appear lost within the continuous noise. Sound bites tell a story but it's getting harder and harder to believe any of it is the real truth.
